The Youth Hostel Wernigerode is perfectly equipped for music groups of all sorts. There are big and small rooms for workshops and social programs – but the highlight is the big, soundproofed music hall with the built in recording studio in the music villa’s attic. There even is a grand piano at our disposal!<\/p>\n

The bedrooms\u00a0are spread out over the music villa and the extension building that was built in the 70s. The latter is (granted) not as pretty looking as the villa, but all rooms – in the villa as well as the extension – are pretty spacious and all have their own bathroom and shower!<\/p>\n

Meals:<\/p>\n

Meals will be taken in the dining hall which is located directly next to the music villa. Breakfast and dinner are served buffet-style while lunch meals are picked up at the counter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The music villa and extension building are connected by the\u00a0Cafeteria\u00a0where you can meet, sit and talk – and where water, fresh coffee, and tea are served (nearly) all day long. Spread throughout the building are additional vending machines for sweets, soft drinks and even small soups. Unfortunately, bringing your own food and drinks is not allowed.<\/p>\n

Wernigerode is a state-certified health resort and thus collects mandatory visitor’s fees!\u00a0We already have the tax calculated into the accomodation prices. In exchange for the fees you get a coupon\u00a0book with many discount coupons. In addition, the book is a bus pass- you can ride all busses in the Wernigerode area for free for the duration of your stay. This is very handy if you want to take a trip into the town.<\/p>\n

Additionally the youth hostel has a bowling alley, billard\/pool tables and a soccer\/beach volley hall. Free parking is available directly on the premises.<\/p>\n

The historic town center of Wernigerode is only about half a kilometer away from the youth hostel (about a 20 minute walk). In addition, it’s very easy to reach by using the (free, with your coupon book) bus!<\/p>\n
